I know you were least partly kidding (and maybe even fully kidding), but I don’t get why Monolingual is somehow bad. Other people have made disparaging comments about Monolingual before, and they certainly weren’t kidding.
I’ve been a huge multilingual fanatic for well over a decade, but I don’t understand why it’s bad if somebody decides that they never need to have their application menus and dialog boxes appear in, say, Arabic. We’re not talking about the ability to view Arabic on the web or via email — Monolingual doesn’t affect that at all. We’re only talking about removing translations for the user interface, which most people don’t want or need except for one or two languages.
I’m confused. Maybe somebody can enlighten me…. :)

Eek, I really was just joking!
I’m sure it’s a fine piece of software. I was just making a facetious face-value judgement about the name… if it had been called “Language Optimizer” or something, I would have kept my big fat mouth shut! :)

Hehe… No worries. I figured as much. I agree that for bi- and tri-lingual folks, the name is a big off-putting. ;)
