Congratulations to Global Voices!
Congratulations to Global Voices Online for winning a Best of the Blogs award!
GVO is doing the sort of thing that the web is supposed to be about: building conversations that couldn’t have existed before the web.
The project is really picking up steam, and shows no signs of slowing — soon there will have to be a GVO equivalent of getting Slashdotted!
Getting “Vocalized”!?
Erm… please forget I said that.
But anyway!
We the people of Blogamundo (that is, Jonas and I, heh) are lucky to have been invited to the Global Voices 2005 London Summit this December.
So Jonas from São Paulo and myself from DC will be shipping out in a couple weeks (eek!) to meet all the cool GV people, and to see how we can help contribute to ( their plans for poking more holes in the language barrier this year.
I can’t wait… and congrats again to the hardworking GV folks!
